Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for providing innovative and cost-effective processes and solutions required to manufacture products, which includes the design and development of new and improved manufacturing techniques, processes and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:
• Monitor, verify and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), drawings, routings, coatings and others
• Responsible for engineering preparation for manufacturing processes, fixture design and standard work time evaluation
• Participate in new product development projects with oversea design team via DFM/FMEA and articulate deliverables to commit to schedules and cost target
• Lead continuous improvement activities, 5S and other corporate requirements (as required from time to time) among production team to drive productivity increasing and product cost reduction
• Provide timely solution/root cause analysis of manufacturing process problems (tooling, equipment, program, etc.) to maintain smooth flow of production
• Analysis of existing production quality problems and take immediate corrective and preventive action/solution.
• Assist management in development of operating plan, capacity plan, resources and other corporate plan requirements

Additional responsibilities:
- Support center drive projects and initiatives as required

Key Qualifications:
• BS or MS degree in manufacturing engineering with 0-3 years applicable experience. Oilfield industry experience is plus
• Knowledge with manufacturing process including tooling, fixture, CNC program (Fanuc or Siemens) and equipment (BTA, CNC lathe, CNC centers). Knowledge & experience about tubular products manufacturing and Inconel manufacturing is preferred
• Knowledge in mechanical assembly, including Tolerance Analysis and Geometric Design and Tolerance (GD&T)
• Experience with process design, design for manufacturability and design for automation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills (Chinese and English). Able to effectively communicate and/or present complex technical issues internally and externally.
